Draft Limit 7.5M, Not a common practice to load timber at anchorage
(open sea). No stevedore operates this sector, foresee not advisable
for anchorage operation.

- equipment like forklift, trailer & crane are available.
- Loading for timber products: port provide equipment and stevedores, using ship’s crane for operation
- Loading for container: 2 gantry cran & 1 mobile crane is available
- operating hour - 3 shifts (0730-1530hrs, 1530-2300hrs, 2300-0600hrs)
- pilotage is restrict by tidal range, depend on arrival draft & daily tide schedule
- DG can accept, progice Group 1, 2 & 3 have to be done ex-wharf.
- port is not congested in Kuching, usually ship can berth on arrival or half to one day waiting for berth.
- Port stevedore operate the ship’s crane, Harbour also can doing so.
- Pilotage operate day & night, no holiday, no Sunday.
