Road transport restrictions during 2011 Chinese New Year

Updates: thanks to Sam Chak, the road ban has been fixed on following dates during CNY:
1st and 2nd Feb
12th and 13th Feb

u can download the notices from below links:
Here’s the road ban notice issued by Association of Malaysian Haulage. And category of vehicles affected listed here.

thanks again, Sam.

With 2011′s Chinese New Year falling on 3rd and 4th Feb 2011, the expected road ban will probably be imposed on 29th / 30th Jan and 5th / 6th Feb. No official circulars, however, have been published todate.

In the past 2 years, heavy vehicles road ban has always been the weekend before and the weekend after the Lunar New Year dates. Refer 2009 and 2010 road ban posts.

Categories of vehicles banned / partial ban should maintain the same as 2010′s heavy vehicle road ban notice.

Anyone who has a copy of 2011′s official notice, appreciate if could share or send me an email to post the info for all.

Happy New Year and… Happy Chinese New Year!!
