Nov industrial production index fell 7.7% fm a year ago and down 3.1% fm October 2008. Manufacturing output -9.4% in November fm a year ago.

Update on clearances of mining proposals in India

It is reported that the Indian government has cleared a proposal for reconnaissance permit to global mining major ACC Rio Tinto Exploration Company for preliminary survey of an 8,300 square kilometer area for diamond and other precious minerals, gold, copper, lead, zinc, silver, bismuth and cadmium.

Crude oil settled down 93 cent…

Crude oil settled down 93 cents to USD41.70 a barrel. Yesterday’s CPO ended -RM97 to RM1,888.
